The US State Department has made it clear that it does not endorse or encourage any Ukrainian attacks beyond its borders, according to spokesperson Matthew Miller. He emphasized that the decision to engage in such actions rests with Ukraine itself.

In upcoming discussions between the US and Ukraine, the focus will be on long-term security guarantees for Ukraine, as stated by Miller during an interview with Alhurra TV. These talks will delve into the specific details of future security commitments.

Recent incidents include a reported drone attack by Ukraine on a railway station in Russia's Kursk region, resulting in injuries to five individuals. Another Ukrainian drone was downed in the Rostov area near the border with Russia, with no casualties reported. A third drone, allegedly en route to Moscow, crashed in an uninhabited area.

While Ukraine has not officially claimed responsibility for these drone attacks, President Volodymyr Zelensky has justified such actions given the circumstances.

In the Kursk incident, five people were injured, and the station's roof, facade, and a train platform were damaged. The Russian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the attack.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that they foiled an attempt by the Ukrainian regime to carry out a terrorist drone attack on Moscow's infrastructure.

These attacks occurred shortly after a Russian missile struck a theater in Chernihiv, Ukraine, causing the deaths of seven individuals, including a child, and injuring 148 others, including 15 children.

President Zelensky has vowed to respond firmly to the Russian terrorist attack.
