US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Cambodia and Thailand will soon hold a round of talks in Malaysia, stressing that "our team has arrived in Malaysia to help achieve peace between Cambodia and Thailand."
Rubio added, "We hope Cambodia and Thailand will reach a ceasefire."
Thailand and Cambodia have agreed to Malaysian mediation to end their border conflict, amid ongoing accusations of artillery attacks between the two sides.
