U.S. Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, arrived in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Sunday to take part in the Independence Day celebrations.
The visit comes as the United States, Ukraine, and Europe work toward reaching security guarantees, according to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform.
Ukrinform noted that Kellogg was not part of the U.S. delegation during the negotiations held in Alaska, due to his inclination to sympathize with Ukraine.
