On Thursday, the first of the American planes carrying 200 tons of food aid landed at El Arish Airport in Egypt, in preparation for its transit to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.

The US Embassy in Cairo stated that it is working closely with the Egyptian Red Crescent, the United Nations, and international partner organizations to expedite and expand aid delivery while increasing protection for Palestinian civilians.

On Tuesday, October 31st, the Israeli army officially announced the expansion of its ground attack on the Gaza Strip in response to Operation Flood of Al-Aqsa.

The Israeli army stated, "We are now launching an attack on Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Our goal is one: victory. No matter how long the fighting lasts, no matter how difficult it may be, there is no result other than victory."

Since Friday, October 7th, the Gaza Strip has witnessed intense shelling on all fronts. Until now, the number of Palestinian martyrs has reached thousands, with the toll increasing significantly every day.

The Israeli occupation army has continued to target civilians, hospitals, churches, and any place where the people of the Strip seek refuge.

Benjamin Netanyahu, in his first speech following the outbreak of the clashes, considered what happened on Saturday, October 7th, an unprecedentedly difficult day for Israel. Israel began intensive shelling on the Strip.

Netanyahu stated in his speech, "This is a difficult day for all of us," adding, "What happened today in Israel has no precedent, and we will avenge this black day."

Netanyahu pointed out that Hamas is responsible for the safety of the captives, adding that Israel will settle scores with anyone who harms them.
