US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to United Kingdom (UK), Lithuania and Indonesia from July 9 to 15 to attend many international events.
In a statment, US State Department stated that during Blinken's travel to Indonesia, he will participate in the annual meeting of the US and ASEAN Foreign Ministers (FMs), the East Asian Summit FMs' meeting and the ASEAN regional forum.
At each meeting, The US Secretary will affirm the United States' commitment to the centrality of ASEAN and his support for the comprehensive strategic partnership between ASEAN and the United States.
Blinken will also tackle economic cooperation, the global struggle against climate change, the ongoing crisis in Myanmar, the situation in the South China Sea, and the Russian war against Ukraine.
The US Secretary of State will also participate in the 2nd strategic dialogue between US and Indonesia, along with his Indonesian counterpart, Retno Marsudi.
