US Hits Highest Daily Covid-19 Deaths

US  recorded on Wednesday the highest daily fatalities due to Covid-19 since May with 2,146 deaths, according to John Hopkins University. Also,  the death toll of the country due to Covid-19 has reached 2,59,925, CNN reported.

Later, The New York Times explained that the infections with Coronavirus in the United States, have exceeded 12  million confirmed cases. New daily cases are approaching 200,000.

The latest wave of deadly viruses began to accelerate in most parts of the USA in mid-October. It took just over two weeks for the nation to move from eight million to nine million on October 30 going from nine to 10 million took just 10 days. The cases increased from 10 million to 11 million in less than seven days.

Moreover, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP) has urged Americans to avoid traveling to celebrate Thanksgiving Day and only celebrate with members of their families.Later, Sky News reported that scientists from the University of Minnesota’s Infectious Diseases Research Center suggested that the Coronavirus pandemic would last for at least two years, and they expected that the virus could not be contained before a third of the world’s population became immunized against infection.
