US President Joe Biden announced on Tuesday that he will visit Israel tomorrow, Wednesday, to show solidarity with the country in the face of Hamas.
"On Wednesday, I'll travel to Israel to stand in solidarity in the face of Hamas's brutal terrorist attack," Biden posted on 'X'.
"I'll then travel to Jordan to address dire humanitarian needs, meet with leaders, and make clear that Hamas does not stand for Palestinians' right to self-determination," he added.
Israeli media had confirmed that Biden will travel to Israel on Wednesday, according to a breaking news report aired by Cairo News TV Channel.
The Associated Press (AP) also said on its website on Monday that the visit would be a "powerful symbol of sympathy and support for Israel.
