US President Joe Biden congratulated Muslims all over the world on Islamic (Hijri)New Year 1445.

"Jill and I extend our warm wishes to our Muslim friends and neighbors marking the Islamic New Year, 1445 Al-Hijra," Biden tweeted.

"May this year bring peace and blessings to you!," US President added.

On this day, Muslims celebrate 1445 years since Islam’s Prophet Muhammad -peace be upon him- migrated from Mecca to Medina, to save Muslims from torture by leaders of Quraish, an Arab tribe Muhammad was part of, and to protect the proselytism of Islam from being eradicated by disbelievers at that time.
