Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to the US President for Arab and African Affairs, has praised Egypt’s role in promoting peace, security and prosperity across the Middle East and Africa.
In a message marking Egypt’s 74th National Day, Boulos said Washington valued Cairo’s regional role and looked forward to maintaining close cooperation on shared priorities in the coming years.
“The United States appreciates Egypt’s central role in strengthening peace, security and prosperity in the Middle East and Africa,” he said.
Boulos added that the United States was seeking to expand its partnership with Egypt in a way that serves the shared interests of both countries and supports regional stability and development.
He congratulated the Egyptian government and people on the national occasion and reiterated the US administration’s appreciation for Egypt’s contributions to regional security.
The remarks reflected Washington’s interest in continuing coordination with Cairo on political, security and development issues affecting the Middle East and the African continent.
