A US police officer killed a suspect despite Trump's pardon, officials said.
The victim was included in President Donald Trump's pardon of the attackers.
The victim had been convicted of participating in the storming of the Capitol building.
Matthew Huttle, 42, was killed Sunday by a Jasper County sheriff's deputy after he "resisted" arrest after police stopped his car in northwest Indiana, according to a statement from the state police.
"A struggle ensued between the suspect and a police officer, which resulted in the officer fatally shooting the suspect," the statement said, without providing further details other than that Huttle had a firearm.
