On Sunday, a person was killed and 4 others were injured, as a result of gunfire arising from a dispute inside a company in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, according to the US security authorities.
A spokeswoman for the Louisville Metro Police Department, Alicia Smiley, said in a press release that officers were called to the scene at 11 p.m. Saturday.
She explained that two men and two injured women were found in one location, and they were taken to the hospital, pointing out that one of the two men is in critical condition and that the condition of the other three is stable.
The spokeswoman stated that another man was found shot from a short distance and was also taken to hospital, where he breathed his last.
No arrests have been reported and homicide detectives continue to investigate the incident.
Smiley stated that the shooting broke out as a result of a dispute within a company overlooking the street. She did not specify the type of company that witnessed the incident.
