US House of Representatives Approves Public Impeachment of Trump

US House of Representatives (lower chamber of Congress) passed on Thursday a bill to launch the public stage of impeachment of  President Donald Trump and sack him of his position.

It is worth to mention the Democratic lawmakers are the majority at the House.

Most of them announced supporting more investigations into the impeachment process.

Six committees of US Congress are still investigating  into accusations against the incumbent president.

Two hundred thirty-two lawmakers support the  bill related to sack the president meanwhile 196 ones voted against it.

The bill permits holding public hearings under supervision of Intelligence Committee of the House.

Regulations of  those hearings will be defined clearly later this year.

The document adopted by the House says that the aim of investigations is to search whether are sufficient basis to enables the House to impeach US President.

Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, made a statement after voting the bill of impeachment on Thursday.

She said that is a sad day in history of the USA as no one in Congress supports the impeachment of the president.

She was sympathetic with Trump despite fierce opposition.

Mrs. Pelosi said that Trump is threatening the principle of separating powers which contradicts Constitution and put democracy at the stakes.

If the Democratic lawmakers  at the House  give their support to  impeachment the end,  fate of Trump will be at hands of the Senate.

The Republican are the are the  majority in the Senate which is the upper chamber of Congress.

Two thirds of the Senate must support  the impeachment process to bring down the president.

If the Senators choose to impeach the president, it will be the first case in the American history.

The Democrats accuse Trump of power abuse and exposing US national security to danger when he lobbied his Ukrainian counterpart to  launch an investigation against Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden, a democratic hopeful of 2020 presidential election.

Biden, Jr., works as the CEO of "Burisma for energy in Ukraine.

Biden, the senior, had served as Vice-President under former US President Barak Obama years earlier.
