The chief infectious disease expert in the United States of America (USA) Anthony Fauci, warned today that the restrictions related to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic in the world will continue until the end of next year.

Fauci confirmed that his country will get a vaccine against Coronavirus in the coming months, ruling out a return to normal life before the end of 2021.

During an interview via video  with the professors of University of Melbourne, he said: "If we get a vaccine by the second or third quarter of 2021 and inoculate a large proportion of people, it will be easy by the end of 2021, to see the manifestations of normal life."

However, Fauci noted that political pision and fear of economic loss have affected the country's performance today.

He added that when the US authorities were trying to open the economy again or open the country and I was very much involved with Dr. Deborah Birx to collect these instructions, which was a gateway to stage 1, stage 2, if everyone did that uniformly I don't think we would be in the situation we are in now.  "

He went on to say that the facial masks in the United States almost became a political statement, and he knows that this was reported in the news globally.

In fact, people were mocked because of the masks, and this depends on what side of the political spectrum you were in."

He added that it was it is painful to witness this pision, which revolves around the issue of public health.

A number of news agencies across the globe revealed that more than 500,000 new infections with the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) were recorded in the world yesterday, Tuesday, in a new record.

The increase in the number of infections is partly explained by the increase in examinations since the first epidemic wave in March and April.
