U.S. Escalates Strikes on Iran with Heavy Bombers as IRGC Warns Ships in the Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has warned shipping companies that the southern route of the Strait of Hormuz has been mined.

The commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force stated that striking bridges and power stations in Iran would result in cutting off electricity to "US allies and hosts" in the region.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, quoting informed sources, revealed that the United States informed Tel Aviv of its intention to escalate attacks against Iran in the coming days, with Washington planning to deploy heavy bombers for the first time since the onset of the current round of escalation.

This operational escalation follows the initial days of the conflict, during which US forces relied on strategic bombers launched directly from British territory to execute strikes deep inside Iranian territory.

In light of recent statements by US President Donald Trump and his pledge to launch imminent strikes, current estimates suggest that the fortified "Jabal al-Fas" (Axe Mountain) complex—located near the Natanz nuclear facility—tops the list of target priorities for these heavy airstrikes.
