The U.S. Embassy in Cairo’s Alumni Council, in collaboration with the AUC Office of Alumni Engagement, has launched its “AI across Professions” capacity-building series at the American University in Cairo. The first session, “AI for Marketing and Media,” brought together 100 participants from the network of Egyptians who have participated in U.S. government-funded exchange programs to explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping marketing, media, and content creation.
At the event, Minister Counselor for Public Diplomacy Ruben Harutunian said, “Artificial intelligence is transforming how information is created, shared, and consumed. Through this series of workshops, we aim not only to showcase American leadership in AI, but also to equip Egyptian professionals with the skills to use these tools effectively.”
Spanning four months, the “AI across Professions” series will feature workshops in Cairo and Alexandria, covering topics such as media, property technology, and contract law. The series underscores ongoing U.S.–Egypt cooperation in innovation, education, and technology, while promoting accuracy and professionalism in the media space.
