The Deputy Secretary of State, Wendy Sherman, will pay a visit to Egypt for two days on 10, 11 March, the Department of State announced in a statement on Sunday.
Sherman's agenda includes a meeting with the Foreign Ministry Sameh Shoukry, alongside several senior officials.
Moreover, she will hold a meeting with the Head of the National Council of Human Rights, Moushira Khattab.
Therefore, she will have several talks with Egyptian human rights advocates and Egyptian youth.
In the same context, Sherman’s visit to Egypt will be the final stop of her latest overseas tour that includes Turkey, Spain, Morocco, and Algeria from March 4 to 11.
