The United States has delivered humanitarian assistance to Pakistan to support communities devastated by recent floods, according to a statement from Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The aid was provided through the US Central Command (CENTCOM) and includes six scheduled relief flights carrying essential supplies, such as tents, water pumps, and generators, as reported by The Nation on Saturday.
The first shipment arrived on Saturday, where the US chargé d’affaires and the CENTCOM commander formally handed over the relief materials to the Pakistan Army at a reception ceremony.
The supplies will be distributed to flood relief camps established by the Pakistan Army to support thousands of displaced residents.
