The U.S. Treasury Department announced in a statement, Friday, that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin will head a U.S. delegation to visit Israel, Bahrain and the UAE from October 17-20.
The ministry said in a statement that the visit aims to support the Abraham Accords, signed by the three countries (Israel, UAE and Bahrain) in the White House to normalize relations under U.S. auspices.
According to the statement, Mnuchin and the American delegation will join Israeli officials on the first direct commercial flight from Israel to Bahrain.
The flight will depart from Tel Aviv and arrive in Manama, where the American and Israeli delegations will participate in meetings with senior Bahraini officials.
