Johns Hopkins University announced on  Saturday the registration of 205,557 new cases of infection with the Coronavirus ( known also as COVID-19) in the US in addition to 1404 deaths during the past 24 hours.

The American network (CNN) reported that the number of infections with COVID-19 in the country rose to 13 million and 88 thousand and 821 injuries, including 264 thousand 858 deaths.

The US is the first country in the world in terms of the high number of HIV infections it has.

Yesterday, Friday, the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (USDCP) said that Corona infections in the country reached 12 million and 823092 cases, an increase of 324,358 cases over its previous count and that the number of deaths from the disease rose to 262673.

The centers recorded the numbers of cases and deaths until 4 pm EST on Thursday, and their previous report was issued on Wednesday.

The (USDCP) count does not necessarily match the total cases declared by inpidual US states.

US President Donald Trump said that delivery of the Coronavirus vaccine will begin next week and the following week.

However, the American authorities are developing plans to confront the significant rise in infections with the Coronavirus.

The administration of the outgoing US President said that the vaccination process against Corona will begin in early December, according to urgent news broadcast by Al Arabiya Space Channel.

Moncef Al-Salawi, head of the outgoing US President's team on the Corona vaccine, said that 70% of the population must be vaccinated in order for life to return to normal, according to media sources.

He added that the concerned authorities in the USA can start the vaccination process from December 11 or 12 next.

He continued to say that the minimum age for receiving the vaccine produced by Pfizer company is 13 or 14, and it can be raised to 16.
