On Wednesday, US CDA Ambassador in Cairo Elizabeth Jones welcomed the crossing of dual-nationality carriers through the Rafah Border Crossing from Gaza to Egypt.
Jones expressed US gratitude to the Egyptian leadership for facilitating a safe cross for the foreigners who aimed to leave Gaza.
She added that the US fully respects Egypt's sovereignty and its needs for its national security.
The US official highlighted that US President Joe Biden asserted to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi that the US is committed to guaranteeing not to displace the Palestinians from Gaza to any neighboring country, including Egypt.
