US Ambassador Herro Mustafa Garg joined Minister of Civil Aviation Captain Sameh El-Hefny and CEO of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation Ayman Arab for a briefing showcasing U.S. companies with expertise and technical knowledge to support development of Terminal 4 at Cairo International Airport.
“U.S. companies have long been at the forefront of delivering groundbreaking innovations to airports across the globe,” Ambassador Mustafa Garg said.
“From expertly managing and consulting on large-scale infrastructure projects to integrating advanced screening technologies and building cutting-edge automation systems, American firms are pivotal players in ensuring the safety, reliability, and seamless functioning of airports worldwide.”
The U.S. firms Hill International, OSI/Rapiscan, and Honeywell demonstrated the products and services they have ready to deploy in the development of Terminal 4.
The companies, global leaders in emerging technologies that protect safety and security, aim to partner with the Civil Aviation Ministry and the Civil Aviation Authority to provide state-of-the-art equipment services for Egypt’s growth as a popular tourist destination and a critical hub connecting Europe, Africa, Asia, and the United States.
