US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken announced that Washington will provide Kiev with additional military aid worth $500 million, including artillery ammunition and biological, chemical, radiological and nuclear protection equipment.
Blinken said in a statement that additional aid will be allocated from Pentagon stockpiles worth $500 million.
The statement said the package will include: “anti-drone ammunition, HIMARS ammunition, 155 and 105 mm artillery ammunition, high-speed anti-radar missiles, drones, mine-resistant vehicles, light tactical vehicles, biological, chemical, radiological and nuclear protection equipment, armor-piercing systems and Javelin.”
Russia believes that arms supplies to Ukraine contradicts with settlement efforts, and directly involves NATO countries in the conflict, and is considered “playing with fire.
