US Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, announced on Thursday the provision of more than $135 million in humanitarian aid to the Palestinians.
This came during the US Secretary’s visit to the Qatari capital, Doha, where he said - in a tweet on the “X” website - that “this new funding will help the World Health Organization and UNICEF teams in their work to provide life-saving humanitarian aid in Gaza.”
The US Secretary of State stressed that the Gaza Strip "is in dire need of such aid."
