American Ambassador in Cairo Jonathan Cohen indicated that Egypt is an important regional energy hub for Africa, the Mediterranean, and the MENA, adding that his country is looking forward to enhancing its cooperation with the Egyptian energy sector.
During his participation in the Egyptian Petroleum Show, Cohen said: "Egypt is an important regional energy hub for Africa, the Mediterranean, and the Middle East and has a proven track record of leadership in energy production, distribution, and security, as well as green technologies.
