United Airlines said on Sunday it expects to begin testing its Starlink satellite network, which is owned by billionaire Elon Musk, in February to provide internet services in flights.
The company said it will first provide connectivity on a commercial flight on an Embraer E-175 jet this spring.
The airline plans to have its entire regional fleet fully equipped by the end of 2025 and launch the first Starlink-enabled aircraft on key routes by the end of the year.
