US-Africa Summit: Sisi Attends Banquet Hosted by Biden

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended a banquet, organized by US President Joe Biden at White House, in honor of African Leaders taking part in Africa-US summit, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.

At the begining of his visit to Washington, El-Sisi had a working breakfast with the Republican leaders in the US House of Representatives for Kentucky, Texas, Ohio, and South Carolina.

Moreover, President Sisi held a meeting with Republican and Democratic members of an "Egypt's friends" group in Congress.

Then, the Egyptian President met with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, at the Washington Convention Center.

It is worth mentioing that, the 2nd “US-African” summit kicked off on Tuesday in Washington, in the presence of leaders from all over the African continent.

The summit will last for 3 days, from December 13 to 15, 2022. US President Joe Biden invited 49 African heads of state.
