The channel revealed that the American side hopes that the expected Palestinian government will contribute to ending the pision between Fatah and Hamas.

The sources explained that the American initiative is based on the formation of a Palestinian government that includes ministers and representatives of Fatah and Hamas, as well as specialists in various aspects who do not belong to any political current.

They indicated that the US administration seeks to get the Palestinian Authority (PA) out of its financial crisis, as well as contributes to creating a state of calm in the region through the formation of this Palestinian government, as the Joe Biden administration trying to reach calm on the Gaza and West Bank fronts, in front of Israel.

The channel quoted Ahmed Majdalani, Palestinian Minister of Social Development Affairs in the Palestinian Authority, who that “the authority will not respond to any American initiative unless there is any decision regarding the opening of US consulate in Eastern Jerusalem.

He noted that if the Palestinian Authority talks about internal files and issues, the Palestinian Authority will not Accept any American dictates. However, at a time when Israel announced the establishment of new settlements in the West Bank, the Palestinian marches condemning the settlements, and demanding the intervention of the international community to stop them, did not stop.
