This week, the US first lady welcomed the official White House Christmas tree, marking the start of the season at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
This year’s tree is from Korson’s Tree Farms in Sidney Township, Michigan.
The Fraser fir, which will stand in the Blue Room of the White House, will be presented by farm owners Rex and Jessica Korson.
The two will also supply a smaller tree for the Oval Office.
The European News Agency published photos of the Christmas tree entering the White House, where it was received by First Lady Melania Trump to be placed in the Blue Room for the celebration of the New Year 2026, according to the agency.
The event marks the unofficial start of the White House holiday season, as the First Lady will oversee the tree’s decoration as part of the festive décor that will be revealed in the coming weeks.
