El-Sisi ratification came days after the approval of the House of Representatives, headed by Counselor Hanafi Jabali of a number of draft laws, including mining and exploitation of gold and minerals in Eqat, Al-Jarf, Masih, Alba mountains, Aswan Region in the Eastern Desert, Hamata region, Fatiri region, Hanjaliah and Um Aoud region in the Eastern Desert, and Atoud region in the Eastern Desert.
The mining will also be in Al-Allaqi valley, located between latitudes 22 degrees south and 23.03 degrees north and from the Red Sea in the east to the Nile Valley in the west, except the regions covered by the agreement that issued Law No. 43 of 2014, the Umm Jarayat region and the Baramiya region in the Eastern Desert.
