The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts that a wave of unstable weather will hit Egypt starting from Thursday.

On Thursday, North coasts, Great Cairo, and the Northern part of Upper Egypt will see light and moderate showers.

In addition, moderate rain and thunderstorms are expected to occur in northwestern coasts and the north of Lower Egypt.

Moreover, more light showers will fall in Canal cities and the north of Upper Egypt. On the other hand, strong winds will blow in Great Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the north of Upper Egypt.

On Friday and Saturday, the wave of the bad weather will be stronger as heavy showers and fierce thunderstorms and frost will hit the northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Great Cairo, and the north of Upper Egypt. In addition, Sinai and the Suez Gulf region would see floods.

However, the south of Egypt will see light rain and drizzle during the day, with strong wind activity.

Concerning navigation in the Mediterranean, the condition of the sea will not be suitable for any marine activities as the height of the waves will range between 4 to 5 meters.

On Sunday, the bad weather conditions will be somehow eased as the strength of rains and winds will be lower than the previous two days.
