The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced on Friday that it is hosting 700,000 displaced people in its schools and buildings in the Gaza Strip.
On Friday, the Palestinian Information Center quoted UNRWA as saying, “More than 50 of its agency’s buildings and assets in Gaza have been affected since the beginning of the Israeli war on the Strip, on the 7th of last month.”
In a related context, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov announced that he discussed with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah the ongoing escalation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

Lavrov said during a press conference following discussions with his Kuwaiti counterpart: “We talked about current regional issues, and we gave priority to the settlement of the Middle East, taking into account the sharp deterioration of the situation in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict area.”
