UNFPA Thanks First Lady for Sponsoring 'Noura' Program

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) thanked Egypt's First Lady, Entissar El Sisi for sponsoring the 'Noura' program.

UNFPA stressed that the First Lady's patronage is an "affirmation of the national commitment to invest in adolescent girls and ultimately achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030."

Moreover, the fund emphasized that it is proud of her Excellency’s endorsement of the 'Noura' program, which prioritizes building girls’ health and social assets as well as their educational skills.

Supported by UNFPA, the program aims at reaching every girl in Egypt to empower them economically to achieve a better future for themselves and for Egypt.

El Sisi, greeted, on Tuesday, the Egyptian women on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

“On the occasion of celebrating International Women’s Day, I salute every single Egyptian woman with much appreciation,” she posted on her official Facebook account.
