UNESCO: 1.5 Bln Children Struggle to Receive Education Due to Corona

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization "UNESCO" confirmed that 1.5  billion children across the world are still suffering from difficulties linked to receiving irregular education due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in the world.

Those wretched children do not have sufficient learning in their national languages.

The UNESCO said on its official Twitter account that there are 1.5 billion children are out of school due to the Corona pandemic, and they do not have enough learning materials in their mother tongue.

It indicated that its bodies are working on translating books in the most affected countries to ensure that students continue their educational journey.

The UN organization confirmed that the Corona crisis caused the largest disruption to the educational process in the history of the world.

It identified 3 tracks on the official account on the "Twitter" site to support the educational process during the Corona pandemic.

Those tracks include; renewing commitment to investing in the field of education, recovering from pandemic to safely reopen schools, and re-envision teaching and learning.

The organization indicated the importance of washing children's hands in schools in conjunction with the outbreak of the second wave of the Coronavirus pandemic to prevent the transmission of infection.

The UNESCO tweeted on its official Twitter account that 66% of schools, in various countries in the world, contain basic facilities for hand washing and other basic washing facilities which are necessary to limit the spread of the Coronavirus and ensure the health of children and teachers alike.

The outbreak of the Corona pandemic caused the discovery of many crises that lead to the pision of societies into groups and sects, and that the solution to safely exit these crises lies in facing them.

The organization published on its official account on the "Twitter" website, commenting on these crises as saying that the Corona crisis has unveiled the cracks and fractures that pide our societies.
