Under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, the Aboul Enein Foundation for Cultural and Social Work has launched a nationwide campaign to distribute Eid al-Adha meat to vulnerable families across Egypt.

The initiative includes the slaughter and preparation of more than 1,200 locally raised cattle sourced from Egyptian farms, as part of efforts to support low-income households during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Preparations for the campaign began months in advance through a large-scale organizational effort involving more than 500 volunteers from the foundation’s youth teams. Volunteers participated in slaughter preparations, packaging operations, and loading distribution vehicles heading to governorates across the country.

The campaign is being carried out under the directives of businessman and parliamentarian Mohamed Abou El-Enein and under the supervision of Somaya Abou El-Enein, deputy chairperson of the foundation’s board, continuing the organization’s humanitarian and social support activities that have extended for more than four decades.

The foundation stated that slaughtering and distribution operations are being conducted according to strict health and organizational standards, while relying on verified beneficiary databases to ensure that meat reaches eligible families in villages, districts, and governorates nationwide.

Distribution vehicles loaded with sacrificial meat have already departed to various regions, where local charitable associations will oversee the delivery process.

The campaign aims to strengthen social solidarity and bring Eid celebrations to thousands of families through coordinated volunteer work and community support efforts during the holiday season.
