Under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work (NACDW), the Abu El-Enein Foundation for Cultural and Social Activity began today the distribution of 350,000 Ramadan food bags to eligible families.
This initiative marks the foundation’s 45th consecutive year of community service, following the directives of MP Mohamed Abu El-Enein, Chairman of the Board, and under the supervision of Mrs. Somaya Abu El-Enein, Vice Chairperson.
This year’s Ramadan bag includes 11 essential food commodities of the highest quality to meet the needs of Egyptian households during the Holy Month. The foundation’s efforts reflect its commitment to providing genuine support that upholds both quality and dignity.
Distribution commenced at the foundation’s headquarters after thousands of bags had already been delivered across various governorates through local grassroots organizations.
Distribution sites saw a high turnout of beneficiaries, who gathered in organized queues reflecting high levels of discipline and coordination.
The process is being managed through a modern electronic system via the "Al-Khair Card" (Goodness Card), ensuring that support reaches its rightful recipients efficiently.
The foundation emphasized that preparations for the Ramadan season begin early each year. This involves contracting for the finest goods, followed by processing and packaging according to the highest standards, ensuring they reach deserving families well before the start of the Holy Month.
