Dozens of settlers, protected by Israeli police, stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Tuesday.
The Jerusalem Governorate stated, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), that 693 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa compound under heavy Israeli police protection and performed Talmudic rituals in front of the Dome of the Rock.
Al-Aqsa Mosque has been subjected to increasing incursions by settlers since the start of the war of extermination, which constitutes a dangerous escalation and a violation of the sanctity of the mosque.
