UN Secretary General Asks to Meet Putin, Zelensky

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to meet with him in Moscow and Kyiv.

Noteworthy, the Security Council has renewed the call to stop the war in Ukraine.

This came during a session held yesterday at the request of Mexico and France to discuss the situation in Ukraine, especially since the Russian war on Ukraine is entering its eighth week.

Many members of the Security Council expressed their support for the UN Secretary-General’s call for a cease-fire during the Easter period.
