UN Envoy to Syria: Ready to Support Syrians Toward a Stable Future

The United Nations envoy to Syria has called on all Syrians to prioritize dialogue, unity, and respect for human rights. 

The envoy emphasized the readiness of the UN to support the Syrian people on their journey towards a stable and inclusive future, noting that millions of Syrians have expressed a clear desire for sustainable and inclusive transitional arrangements.

The UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs added that the organization would assist those in need in Syria with food, fuel, tents, and blankets.

He also stated that all parties in Syria must fulfill their obligations to protect civilians, reinforcing the UN’s commitment to aid the Syrian population amidst ongoing challenges.
