United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemned North Korea's missile test on Sunday, calling on Pyongyang to stop provocative actions.
In a statement, Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the Secretary-General of the United Nations, said that Guterres strongly condemns North Korea's launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile.
The spokesman also added that Guterres reiterated Pyongyang's call to immediately stop any further provocative actions, and to abide by its international obligations based on the resolutions issued by the UN Security Council.
Furthermore, Guterres also called on North Korea to resume dialogue to achieve sustainable peace and complete and verifiable denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
