The U.N. humanitarian coordinator in the Palestinian areas Lynn Hastings called on Israeli forces to allow ambulance crews to enter Jenin in order to deliver humanitarian access and delivery of necessary medical and other supplies into the refugee camp.

She said on Twitter that she was “alarmed by the scale of Israeli forces operation,” noting the airstrikes in the densely populated refugee camp.

The U.N. was mobilizing humanitarian aid, Hastings added.

According to the Palestinian media channels, the military blocked roads within the camp, took over houses and buildings, and set up snipers on rooftops.

They reported that there are bulldozers destroying the streets, snipers are inside and on roofs of houses, drones are hitting houses and Palestinians are killed in the streets.
