The United Nations has called for the immediate resumption of humanitarian aid to Gaza, highlighting the critical situation faced by over two million Palestinians in the region.
Muhanad Hadi, the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, emphasized that humanitarian assistance serves as a lifeline for the residents of Gaza. He noted that the continuous provision of aid is essential for their survival, especially given the unimaginable conditions they have endured for months.
Hadi further stressed that international humanitarian law mandates the fulfillment of civilians' basic needs, which includes unimpeded access to and distribution of humanitarian aid.
