The United Nations (UN) has called for respect for the ceasefire, unimpeded humanitarian aid access to Gaza, and the unconditional release of all hostages.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, UN warned that any further delay in delivering aid to Gaza risks worsening famine and increasing suffering among the civilian population.
The international organization also expressed deep concern over the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza, attributing it to Israel's suspension of aid entry into the territory.
