The United for Media Services (UMS) announced on Saturday several decisions including new administrative board members during a press conference held under the theme of "Five Years of Development."
Hassan Abdallah was named as the new CEO, and Mohamed Al Saadi, Amir El Feky, Tamer Morsy, Dr. Ashraf Salman, and Dr. Mohamed Samir as board members.
Also, the corporation announced launching a new regional TV News station addressing Arabic speakers in the Middle East, Europe, and Australia in 2022. The new station will reflect Egypt's regional and local vision.
It also added that it targeted launching several awards honoring leading scriptwriters and artists, in addition to signing a protocol with various professional syndicates.
Regarding the latest Ramadan drama marathon, UMS announced that the profits of the corporation reached EGP 260 million, comparing to EGP 470 million loss in 2017.
