UK's King Charles Visits Southport, Meets Knife Attack Survivors, Victims' Families

On Tuesday, UK's King Charles III visited Southport city to meet the survivors of the stabbing attack that left three girls dead, and 10 injured people. 

King Charles was greeted by hundreds of the town's residents as he visited a floral tribute to the victims of the attack.

Buckingham Palace said in a statement before the king's visit: "His Majesty The King will travel to Southport to express his continued support for those affected by the 29th July attack and the riot which followed in the town, and to thank frontline emergency staff for their ongoing work serving local people," adding: "The meeting will include some of the surviving children who were present at the Hart Space Community Centre, and their families."

On July 30, a 17-year old teen executed a knife attack in a dance school where a Taylor-Swift themed session took place.

The attack left behind three victims, and 10 wounded.

Swift sent a message to the families of the victims, the wounded, and the survivros, in addition, she some of the attack's survivors backstage at her concert in London.
