As the festive season unfolds, two of Europe’s most celebrated royal households, the British Royal Family and the Princely Family of Monaco, have unveiled their official Christmas cards for 2025, offering the world a glimpse into their year, their traditions, and their personal moments of joy.

The United Kingdom’s King Charles III and Queen Camilla opted for a portrait steeped in both elegance and symbolism.

The portrait, captured during their state visit to Rome earlier this year, also commemorates a special personal milestone: their 20th wedding anniversary.

Set against the serene gardens of Villa Wolkonsky, the photograph portrays the royal couple standing arm in arm, a pose that radiates unity, partnership, and quiet celebration. Queen Camilla’s cream-and-beige coat dress and the King’s classic blue pinstripe suit add a timeless touch to the composition.

The card’s simple message, “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year,” reflects the King’s emphasis on tradition, continuity, and heartfelt sincerity.

As the royal couple prepares to spend Christmas at Sandringham, their card underscores a year marked by service, reflection, and resilience.

Monaco’s Princely Family, Prince Albert II, Princess Charlene, and their twins, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella, chose a more intimate, family-centered photograph for their 2025 greeting.

Captured within the opulent yet cozy setting of the Palais Princier, the portrait showcases the family gathered beside a glittering Christmas tree, warm lights illuminating the room.

Adding a delightful surprise is the appearance of their small Chihuahua, Harley, who steals the spotlight with undeniable charm.

Princess Charlene’s shimmering gown and the coordinated outfits of Prince Albert and Prince Jacques give the card a polished, festive elegance.

Meanwhile, Princess Gabriella’s soft pink dress adds a playful, youthful touch. Together, the image paints a picture not only of royalty, but of togetherness, warmth, and modern family life.

Royal Christmas cards have long served as a bridge between monarchies and the public, revealing glimpses of humanity behind the ceremonial roles.

In 2025, that sentiment feels more resonant than ever. With moments of personal celebration, subtle storytelling, and visual warmth, this year’s royal greetings remind the world that tradition, family, and shared joy lie at the heart of the holiday season.
