Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stressed on Monday that his country "counts on the support of the United States to bring peace."
Zelensky added, in his statements reported by the Ukrinform news agency, “We continue our work with partners... We have already held talks and will take other steps soon,” adding that Ukraine is striving to make “its diplomacy truly objective to end this war as soon as possible.”
The Ukrainian president also stressed that his country seeks true peace, saying, "No one desires it more than the Ukrainian people, whose cities and villages have been destroyed," adding, "We need to stop the war and ensure security."
