Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed on Monday that he will meet with US President Donald Trump next Friday in the United States to discuss arms and energy issues.
The meeting follows two rare, back-to-back phone calls between the two leaders.
The Ukrainian president indicated that his visit will also include meetings with US lawmakers and military officials, as well as with energy sector executives—at Trump's request—at a time when Kyiv is seeking to expand its gas imports from the European Union, Norway, and the Middle East.
