The Ukrainian government announced today, Sunday, that President Volodymyr Zelensky will deliver a speech tomorrow at the two-day "Summit of the Future," held at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
According to the Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform, the summit aims to outline chapters on sustainable development and its financing, international peace and security, science, technology, innovation, and digital cooperation, as well as the transformation of global governance.
After the summit, on Tuesday, the Ukrainian president will participate in a UN Security Council meeting on the Russian war against Ukraine and ways to counter it.
During Zelensky's visit to New York, he is scheduled to hold a series of meetings, including key discussions with U.S. President Joe Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris, and former President Donald Trump.
Additionally, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is set to hold a separate meeting with President Zelensky during his final visit to the U.S. as the Japanese head of government.
