Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on Monday with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
During the meeting, they discussed the ongoing Russian attacks on Ukraine and ways for NATO to provide more support to Kyiv ahead of the alliance's summit in Washington tomorrow.
It is worth mentioning that, Zelensky visited the Polish capital, Warsaw, before heading to Washington to participate in the NATO summit, which is expected to discuss ways to provide long-term security assistance and military training for Ukrainian forces more than two years after the start of the Russian military operation.
Moreover, the Ukrainian president is expected to hold a meeting with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, later today.
Poland is one of Ukraine's largest supporters, having provided approximately $4 billion in military, defense, and training aid, as well as humanitarian, political, and economic support.
