Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Czech Foreign Minister (FM) Jan Lipavský in Kyiv to discuss issues of defense support, according to Ukrinform news website.
Zelensky emphasized the strong relations between Ukraine and the Czech Republic, both at the leadership level and between the two nations.
He acknowledged the numerous initiatives from the Czech side to assist Ukraine, stating, “There are many initiatives from your side to help Ukraine, including the artillery-related initiative, and we are grateful for everything.”
Moreover, both sides discussed defense aid and progress on the initiative to supply artillery shells during the meeting.
